In an exclusive partnership with Lenovo and TES, Rentalworks acquires Lenovo’s devices and offers Device-as-a-Service (DaaS). This initiative extends the lifespan of devices, reduces electronic waste, and provides advanced technology at an accessible cost to SMEs and ITE Sustainability Lab students, all while promoting a circular economy.
ITE Sustainability Lab
In partnership with Lenovo, AMD and TES
Staff and students across all three ITE colleges from Higher Nitec in Electronics & Engineering courses will also be trained to repair and refurbish old PCs at the Lab as part of the course. Conducted by Lenovo and AMD in partnership with Rentalworks and TES, ITE will be provided with the necessary hardware and training on PCs, as well as technical know-how about PC on-site support and refurbishment, including the safe disposal of PC components, upcycling, and offsetting carbon footprint.
Students will also be recognized as Lenovo-certified technicians at the end of the course – equipping them with practical skills and hands-on learning through meaningful collaboration between the education and business sectors. This initiatives provides students with internship and employment opportunities.
