Others:

DaaS is a comprehensive and service-oriented solution, providing more flexibility, device management support, and customisation.

With leasing, you rent the device with an option to purchase later. The rental price only covers the hardware and you are responsible for your own device maintenance and support.

Whereas DaaS works on a subscription model, and typically includes services in the subscription such as maintenance, support, and software updates. DaaS also provides end-to-end device management, has more customisation options, and is more flexible in terms of contract duration and scalability.

DaaS encompasses the entire device lifecycle, from procurement to ongoing management, device refresh up until it is recycled. It offers businesses a cost-effective and hassle-free way to ensure up-to-date and well-maintained devices without the burden of managing the process internally.

With device leasing, you rent the device and are responsible for your own device maintenance and support.

DaaS offers a comprehensive solution for businesses to acquire, manage, and maintain their devices, while providing flexibility, cost predictability, and a range of IT support services. This reduces the total cost of ownership and allows organisations to free internal resources to focus on their core competencies.

Rentalworks DaaS operates on a subscription model, allowing you to budget effectively. You pay a fixed fee per device, which includes services that have been previously agreed upon. This simplifies cost management and eliminates large upfront capital expenses.

Rentalworks takes care of the entire device lifecycle management, from initial consultancy, to deployment, to maintenance, software updates, and end-of-life, including logistics.

DaaS offers many benefits above typical device leasing/rental.

  • By reusing, refreshing and recycling devices, DaaS reduces e-waste and promotes sustainability.
  • With device management outsourced, you can concentrate on your core activities rather than dealing with device-related tasks and issues.
  • DaaS can lead to cost savings over the device’s lifecycle, with predictable pricing and maintenance built into it.
  • DaaS includes technical support to ensure device issues are addressed promptly, minimising downtime.
  • We offer data security and management services, including data backup, encryption, and remote data wiping, to protect sensitive information.
  • DaaS simplifies the procurement process, eliminating the need to negotiate with multiple vendors for devices, services, and support.
  • Rentalworks offers reporting tools to help you track device usage and costs, making it easier to manage your device fleet effectively.
